Location and Facilities
Dnata Cargo combines long-established cargo management expertise with state-of-the-art technology in some of the most up-to-date and best-equipped air cargo terminals called Freightgates. There are seven Freightgates: two (for general cargo and express shipments) are located in the Dubai Air Cargo Village; three (for charter operators, self-handling for charter operators and freight forwarders and a fully-automated terminal) are located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone; one (for the express handling of perishable shipments) is located in the Dubai Flower Centre and one (an offline terminal with an IATA ZJF designation) is located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. We have designed computer systems to enable the information to be exchanged directly between carriers, agents, shippers and customs, creating a paperless environment.
